Good evening. I've had a busy day. Crafty Club was fun this morning. Full house this week. Then a natter with Angela at her house for an hour. I came home and had lunch, which was the last portion of green beans, carrots, and cauliflower soup. That has put my bowels back on the straight an narrow. 😬😆😄 I am sure you didn't want to know that, but there you go. I said it.
This afternoon I tackled a job in the garden. One of my work tables is showing signs of collapse, so I stripped it down dismantled the parts, and now I have to rebuild it again. I won't get it finished tonight so it will have to wait until tomorrow.
I wanted to get rid of a wicker chair I have in the summer house. I have had it years, someone gave it to me. It's bulky and taking up too much space. I put it out on the front with a label saying FREE. It went within an hour.
Here are a few photo's from my day out in Gainsborough on Friday. The Old Hall was open but I didn't take enough money to pay the entrance fee, and I didn't have time anyway because I wanted to look around the town. Maybe one day I might go inside.
I took this photo of Wetherspoons because I like the colourful chairs. I never go in these type of places. I haven't got time so sit around in a pub while I am out.
Gainsborough looks such a wonderful town with all those old buildings Ilona. I love the history in those old buildings. Just wonderful. I hope you get your table repair finished. I am trying to repair a chair at the moment - if I can get the darn cat off it first!! Have a great week Ilona.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Julie. I didn't spend enough time in Gainsborough to give it a thorough assessment. It's a mix of the old historical buildings and the more modern styles. I know which I prefer. I sat in Marshalls Yard for ten minutes but it has no character at all.
DeleteMy table is in bits waiting to be put together again. It is raining. Even Mayze and Mickey won't go outside at the moment. I'm on cat sitting duties this week for a friend so I will be in and out a lot. Good luck with your chair.
