Tarting up the summer house

Hello. I went to Crafty Club this morning at the Village Hall, as usual. The heating was on and we were all sweltering hot. It's a bit windy today but still dry. There was a fabulous rainbow last night as I was finishing my walk. Apparently there were thunderstorms somewhere close by but we didn't get any.

I made a video yesterday while I was working in the summer house, and this morning I uploaded it to yoooootoooob. So here it is.

So now I have had my lunch, one slice of bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and one egg. I'm off outside now, lots to do, I have a list, so I'll leave you to it. Well done the Duchess of Cambridge, a baby boy has been born.

Thanks for popping in, we'll catch up soon.

  2. The summer house looks so cosy!I would love to sit in there even when its raining, with a fleece and a good book. There is something I love about hearing the rain on the roof. When we had a caravan I used love hearing the pitter patter of the rain.I found it so relaxing!Well its been quite a pleasant day here in Leicester.A lot cooler but just stuck a cardigan on and it was fine to sit out in.I went to my Mams and sat in her garden aswell after helping her pull a few weeds up.Have you ever noticed, that you can clear a patch of them...then look round and they have grown again, lol.Loved the video Ilona,xx

  4. Enjoyed the summerhouse video, but the best bit, and I should say, starring role was, ......ta da !.....MAYZE ! :-). How lovely to see and hear her on film, what a pity she wasn't joined by Heidi. So cute.

I love all the colourful doors! They ought to be on some fabulous t.v. game show* with a prize behind each one. Keep up the good work!

(*The only British game show I've seen is Countdown.)

  7. I sprinkle a bit of red pepper, not flakes but the powder, where cats like to poop. It works, but you will have to add some more after the rain. It stops them!

  8. Looking lovely Ilona. So colourful and cheerful. Last summer, I managed to deter neighbouring moggys to relocate their toilet facility. I used old dried lavender bits. I had quite a stash, so every few days sprinkled some on for about 3 weeks. It worked a treat. They still enjoy a visit but seem to be pooping somewhere else.

  9. Watched with interest the news about the new royal baby. Wonder how most British feel about having another royal mouth to feed and clothe for a lifetime I certainly resent having to feed and clothe Donald Trump's family for four years, lol.

    1. Why do you say 'most British', do you think there are more people who wish we didn't have a Royal family? Personally I don't care what other people think. I like the Royals, they do a good job, and I wouldn't want to do it for all the tea in China. I am not too keen on Charles, but we are stuck with him, I hope I am still alive when Prince William takes over.
