A short break
Hello. I'm just back from three days away, visiting family and friends in the Midlands. I've had a brilliant time. Been to a football match, met up for coffee with someone I used to work with over 50 years ago, walked dogs and walked three kids home from school, popped in to see Auntie in her new bungalow, chatted with someone I met at the school reunion in August, called in to see a cousin who has a shop, and had a meal with my sister. A busy three days with a two night stay in a hotel in my home town. Pics will be posted, not tonight, it's too late, I am winding down now. I'll catch you tomorrow. Toodle pip. ilona

ReplyDeleteI thought that you might have gone away for a few days.It sounds like you managed to cram loads of enjoyable things in to a couple of days.I think that it always makes a break seem so much longer then!.Im off for a break with my Grandaughter this weekend. She is staying here tonight and we get the coach at 9am Sat morning to have a day at Chester and the next day at Matlock. Both have the Christmas markets on so it should be a great time.To be honest Im looking forward to being waited on at the hotel! We will have dinner there in the evening and breakfast in the morning. With all our travel it has only cost £69 each.Im pleased that you had such a great time in that lovely hometown of yours,xx
ReplyDeleteDebi I was just reading your comment when the Matlock market popped up on my local news! Enjoy xx
