Strange what you find while litter picking

What have I been doing today?
This morning, working on the Craft Table. I am making some flowers with cd's and cut up pieces of plastic. No photo's yet. I hope to get them finished tomorrow.
This afternoon was hot. I went out to do some litter picking. I haven't done the busy road into town for a while, best go and check what it's like. So I park my car in the middle of a section I want to do, then walk in one direction, and come back when the bag is full. Put a fresh bag in the trolley and walk the other way until that is full. It's busy, even on a Sunday. There is a pull in for drivers needing to have a break. There is always rubbish there.
I found this load of straps which had been thrown in a hedge bottom. I pulled them out and left them on the top of a boulder. Shocking because they are like new, and cost a lot of money. I sometimes see foreign lorries parked here. The Council truck will pick these up.
I found a lot of face masks scattered on grass verges. Very strange.
Two bags filled, plus sixteen face masks. I dropped them in my usual place next to the bin at the pond. It was such a hot day, a lot of people were having fun in the water. Some of them had left their rubbish next to the litter bins. I hope they all do that so I don't have to go and tidy it up next week.

It's 9pm so I'm going to have the last hour outside in the garden.

Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
