Tidying my patch.

Good evening.

There is still a lot more to do on this wall hanging. A little bit of stitching on the last two circles. Then they all need a back cutting out and stitching on. Then they need to be stitched onto the actual macrame frame. Looking good so far. 

I did some hedge trimming in the garden this morning. Then after lunch I went to the Blue Lagoon Pond to tidy up the litter. I was a bit downhearted on Wednesday when I saw that the Council had not been. My bags were all still there, along with a lot more rubbish dumped by the litter bins. 

Pleased to say that it was all gone today. I took my trolley around the pond to find any litter that might have been missed. And I did. Some of it was in the water, I managed to reach it with my stick. Lots of dirty glass bottles. The lifebelt thingy should be in a red plastic box on a pole, but I couldn't put it back because it was on the other side of the water. 

You need to have sharp eyesight to find all the hidden bottles and cans. I leaned in to pick up this one.

Then found another bottle and three cans close by. 

The Council have emptied their bins and put in fresh bags. I had a look inside one of them next to a layby on the Industrial Estate. Five empty whiskey bottles. Why would somebody dump them here. Are they trying to hide something. 

It was a lovely day for a longer circular walk. A good opportunity to fill my red sack. I had to tie the top of it because I kept piling the rubbish in and it kept falling out. As you can see my trolley is overflowing. 

It is all nice and tidy again. How dare anyone mess up my patch 😎😁😝
