Aaaaah bless.

Two friends lounging in the sun. Don't tell Oscar, he will be upset that Heidi has found a new boyfriend. She looks very chilled.
She spends a lot of time indoors, so it's nice to see that the good weather is enticing her outside. She doesn't wander far, stays close to the house, and is quick to come back in when the back door opens. She's a little sweetheart.

  1. I'm pleased to see you are still adding to your blog seems to be more like a diary for you now mind you does that make me a snoop LOL, as for the cats they are showing how comfortable they are to be with you, as the saying goes love is a two way thing.

    1. Yes, the posts will still be appearing, but they may well be a bit shorter in the future. As you say, more like a diary than lengthy articles. The cats love it here, they are the masters, I am their slave.

    2. I feel like I'm an old kennel maid Ilona.I seem to be running around doing dog stuff for most of the day-walking,bathing them cooking for them, cleaning teeth, checking skin and eyes and brushing, cutting, clearing mud off floors, keeping them amused, with toys, refereeing over zealous play, sweeping up shredded paper, rescuing my socks and clothing and checking no one's chocking on a shredded toy,and now the one that was almost house trained has now decided he wants to wee indoors as he's seen the newer one doing it occasinally- bless them x

    1. They do look well together. Heidi is very laid back, she will accept any cat that happens to wander into the garden. Mayze not so. She glares at them and sends them off packing. Funny to watch.

  3. Oh she looks very relaxed!!..Oscar will be fuming, lol. My Lily always makes friends with any cats in the close where we live, but Fibert and Storm always want to go and have a very stern word with them,if she brings them into the garden or house...It looks a lovely day where you are and isnt it great when the sun is shining!.We have had some early mornings with very bad frost, but as the days gone on,the sun comes out and everything is good again.I love getting really well wrapped up against the cold and going out and walking in the sun.Hope that it shines again for you and the cats today.xx

  7. beautiful cats. I love their coloring. Our Lily Pearl is all white (hence the name!!). Our other cat recently died and we remain very sad at her loss from a chronic illness at only age 4. She was all white except orange ears and orange stripe tail - my grandson named her 'Tiger' based on those stripes! I am enjoying the embroidery info you are sharing with your student. Long ago I did embroidery... your notes are tempting me to start again.
