Wheels in motion

This is the last job I did before I retired. Brand new Volvo moving containers from Immingham Docks to the warehouse at Scunthorpe. Depot to depot work across the country, and shop deliveries. Easy to drive. Comfortable cabs. Well maintained.
I like to keep in touch with the transport industry, so I follow various news items on social media. I see from UK Haulier, a report on the UK Governments Advanced Propulsion Centre, that is backing a £30 million Hydrogen HGV project, investing £15 million into pioneers HVS Trucks.
If you read any of the reports, you will see that zero emissions have been on the agenda for a long time. Billions world wide have been invested to find alternatives to petrol and diesel fuels.
This is only a small part of the big plan. You need to piece it all together with the other parts of the jigsaw. When you follow the money you will get to the end. They ain't going to stop now.
Catch ya later. Toodle pip.   ilona
