Fifteen long months

It is six months since Henry died, and his killer has just been sentenced to prison. It took six months to bring this case to court. In the aftermath of the stabbing the police were shown to be what you might call complicit in his death. They failed to act on their human instincts, preferring to follow the prescribed guidelines of their training. Immobilise the victim, cuff him and ask questions later. By this time it was too late. It might be that poor Henry was already dead by this time.
Charles Veitch talks about his murder, and the aftermath of the trial and subsequent protests in Southampton. Charlie is a citizens journalist. He doesn't hold back, and in this video his anger is palpable. His emotions are raw, you have to be tuned into his thought processes to experience the sheer frustrations he feels. 18 minutes.
There are still a lot of questions to be answered, which should come out at Henry's inquest. A date has been set for that. A report from the BBC.

Resuming a hearing, Hampshire coroner Jason Pegg said the full circumstances surrounding the death on 3 December had not been fully scrutinised. He said a full inquest with a jury would be held on 20 September 2027

The Guardian has done a hatchet job on the story.

Here is History Debunked talking about why the date of the inquest is so far away.

I think most of us know why. They want us to forget about the whole sorry mess. It's a good day for burying bad news, who said that? What a tragic shame that a young man was robbed of his life. There will be many more casualties of the Global push for open borders, one government, one currency, one religion. We are not all the same.

Have a good weekend. ilona

  1. We are not the same,.. you’re most definitely right there. I have childhood Sikh friends, college Muslim friends and they are British in their thinking, it was always their parents that caused them problems with integration,… they were British but always being pulled in another direction,… I don’t understand why come to another country and expect it to be the same as the one you left, in culture terms. I guess money and bettering things for your future family is the story, they, and all of us have been sold. They, the parents are victims too. ( I say this because Henry’s killer was British born from what I have read,.. and the parents not,.. exactly what my multicultural friends are,.. and the conflict, if are not a stable personality, can affect you and your behaviour.). I’m Joanne from Wolverhampton by the way,.. and have lived with Muslims in house shares at college, and we were a very happy bunch,.. they drank, partied and were very integrated,.. and are still close friends,.. its the parents,.. as I’ve said.

    1. In Canada, it was the older generation that tried to keep the village mentality going. Now, it's the newest immigrants. From villages with very basic education and very fundamentalist views. People coming into any country need far beetter screening

  2. Henry Nowak's murder is very very upsetting. He is recorded as saying 9 times "I can't breathe", the police need to be put on trial, they are complicit. Far too many immigrants whose religion pushes them to not assimilate.

    1. As if the stabbing of a young person was not bad enough, the Police then continued to treat Henry like he was a bag of rubbish. Maybe it was too late to save him but it shows that they lacked compassion for a human life, and chose to follow the rules that had been force fed to them throughout their training. If we can't trust the Police to look after us, who can we trust.
