Hello. It's that time of the month, the first day of May, and the time we all come clean and report in with our walking miles. So, our International Walking Group, are you ready, we want to know how you have done during April, and the first four months of the year. To start with, a motivational video to get you in the mood. From yooootoooob, not mine.
We are a third of the way through the year, a third of 1000 miles is 333.33333333 miles or thereabouts. Have we hit that target. Maybe you have your own targets, that's ok, have you hit those, let us know.
Checking my calendar, I have been naughty, I have missed ten days of walking, through various reasons. I am ahead of target anyway so I could slack off a bit, the weather has been a bit rubbish on some days, and my mind was focused on other things. Excuses, excuses, I know. I am still ahead, but the gap has narrowed, I have finished on 355 miles.
I need to get back on track. I have been doing the two mile walk, but now need to do more three mile walks. I must make myself do it, because I feel so much more alive the more walking I do. If I don't walk enough my body feels sluggish, and my mind gets muddled, that needs sorting. I need to get off my arse and walk more.
So are you with me? We are all in this together, I need you to keep going, you need to keep going. Please record your miles here. Anyone else can comment as well, it's not just for walkers.
