Wrapping it up

Good morning. Strange weather we are having. It's been misty here, like a fog has descended on the village. Then it clears, then it's hot, almost tropical. Very strange.
This is something new I am playing with. One of our crafty ladies showed us how to make a bowl out of a piece of rope and strips of fabric. I am using thick wool instead of fabric. First wrap the wool around the rope. Come back later for the next step.
It turned out really hot yesterday, didn't realise how hot it was until ten minutes after I set off for a walk. Phew, had to remove one of my T shirts, I normally wear two together. Pretty flowers in the hedgerow.
Foxglove babies are looking very nice.
Poor mummy is looking a bit bald. Shame the flowers are dropping off.
The big black assemblage is nearing completion, just a few more tweaks. Gaps to fill with beads, and more painting. Still getting to grips with this new blogger system. It's like searching through a chest full of drawers until you find the bits you need. A lot more clicks than the old system. I'll get used to it. I'm glad I have the old fashioned large keyboard and mouse. Hate those swipey screens and pads.
Happy Sunday everybody, thanks for dropping in. Toodle pip.  ilona

  1. That top plant is called Mallow. Its a really useful plant to know and recognise as its all edible. Well worth reading up about with your next cuppa x x
