Coffee chat, with Mayze

Good evening. It was time for a coffee chat so here is the video I made this morning.
Tomorrow I need to make another cat shelter in the garden. Oscar is losing out because another cat keeps creeping into his bed. I have moved one of the old kitchen cupboards that I have in the garage, to under the porch of the summer house. I will modify it to make a shelter, so nobody misses out.
I cleaned up two more filing cabinets, and someone came for them today. She said they are just what she needs to store her paint in her new craft studio. Pleased that someone can use them.
It takes me two days to swig a can of cider, I have just finished it. I got my wages for the dog walking, a bag of vegetables and fruit. This means I don't have to go shopping until later next week. It will keep me going, more stews I think.
Going to watch some videos before bed time. Thanks for popping in. Have a nice Sunday. Toodle pip.   ilona

    1. I am guilty of not always remembering names, especially if they are tongue twisters. A friend in the village has told me the name of his horse several times, and I still forget it. Mind you, it's very complicated. I sometimes think shortened versions are very useful.

  2. Ilona, thank you for a great video and I think that you have covered my life at the moment!.You really have!!.And as far as the spelling and how to say your name,I think that I have got it off to a T..My great granny was Swiss,so I do know how to do names with an accent.Although my name is just Debra,I have had years of people saying and spelling it Deborah.Even at school, all those years ago,the teachers insisted on spelling my name Deborah.Thank you again so much for the video,I have really enjoyed it,xx

    1. Thank you Debi. My mum kept her accent throughout her life, although it was very much watered down in her later years. I'm sorry to say that we laughed at how she pronounced some of her words, but she took it in good spirit. I wished I'd paid more attention when she was trying to teach me German.

  4. Thanks for your comment, and your request not to publish. You know who you are. History has a habit of repeating itself. Not everybody sees things in the same way. Read and learn, and go with your gut instincts. Sometimes you will be right, sometimes you will be way off the mark. Keep an open mind, and be true to yourself.

  5. Have left you comments on yoootooob.. really enjoyed your vid; it's like having a sunday morning chat with a friend. I will be really interested to see pic of your cat shelter as i want to make one myself and am slightly DIY-challenged!! Am hoping to adopt a new cat (cats?) when the rescue centre opens up again in a few weeks time. As usual I hope to be matched with the cats that noone wants! Enjoy your sunday!
