Did you see the wonderful sunrise this morning? It only lasted a few minutes here, too good a chance to miss so a few snaps from the back garden. A beautiful start to the day.
Then it was gone and the grey clouds came over :o(
I caught a glimpse too and I was very happy as I don't usually see it! It was lovely, I took a photo too! Mine was not quite as nice as yours and also turned grey very quickly.
Just found your blog via Louise's comment on mine this morning. I too saw the lovely sky and managed to photograph it before it disappeared, wasn't it wonderful? I see from a previous post that you have recently visited one of my favourite places in Derbyshire - Castleton. I'll be back to visit again:)
Inevitably, however, I was looking at it and thinking, "Hmmm. This 'll be due to that whopping great low pressure area South of Iceland... it's probably going to get a bit windy..."
Kate, it was only there for five minutes, you'll have to get up a bit earlier to catch it. Louise saw it, your photo is good Louise, your clouds are more fluffier than mine.
Lizbeth, I got that feeling also, if that's what heaven is like I shall be glad to go. Now now Cyberkim, don't put the dampeners on it. It has been windy today though, those poor people in Australia who now have to face a cyclone,
Hello. I started this blog as a way to document my life after after taking a drop in income, and after retirement living on a pension. The purpose was to pass on any money saving tips which might help others. Fast forward 14 years, and life has taken me in different directions. Money saving tips have morphed into a new message. Take control of your own destiny. Be responsible for your own health and well being. Value your freedom and don't let go of it.
How awesome! I love your beautiful photos. This one is just a foretaste of what it will be like when the Lord returns. ~Liz
