Read all about it.

Hello. Just popping in this morning, I'm off out at lunchtime to meet my friend Helen. We'll sup soup and take dogs a walk. It's sunny so it should be nice.

This article is just out in the Burton Daily Mail,  I'll link it here so you can peruse if you wish.

I'll be back later. Toodle pip.

STOP PRESS.
I'm just adding this before I go out. I've found the ABC Canberra interview, it is only available for 7 days. Move the slider button along to almost centre of the scale. There are no numbers on it so I measured it with a ruler. The line is 26cm long, my bit is a fraction before the 14cm mark. I'm pleased with it, one of the better ones. Phillip is a friendly fella.

  1. I'm with you on the ironing Ilona (from the newspaper article). I peg stuff on the line to dry after a good shake to eliminate ironing. It usually works. I also love crispy stiff line dried towels - in effect they are free exfoliators!!

    2. I thought it was just me! I like a crispy towel but Mr Shoestring and my daughter moan like crazy :) :) I will tell them they are the odd ones!

  4. Phillip was a cheerful chappie and let you answer his questions without butting-in as some of these interviewers do. We want to hear what you have to say - I found the Vanessa Feltz radio interview irritating, she was 'rush, rush, rush' and kept interrupting. I agree with you and Mrs LH as well, why iron? What a waste of time and precious electricity. I know someone who irons underwear, socks and tea/bath towels - but each to their own. I don't. Amanda

  6. What a lovely interviewer on ABC Canberra. So positive and cheerful. Some of the British broadcasters you've spoken to seemed to have a negative view of you as a mean, crazy lady. I found myself shouting at the radio - 'Just read her blog!!!' But this one was much better. Keep spreading the news. You're doing a fantastic job. x

  9. Just listened to your interview with Philip. Loved it. I am a non-ironer too. Don't see the sense in it at all. Waste of time and money. If I hang or fold clothes quickly after taking them off the line they are as good as ironed. The little wrinkle left comes out quickly enough once the clothes are put on.

  10. Ilona it was lovely to hear you interviewed from one of our radio stations! I don't iron and I agree about mens underwear and clothing in general.

  11. That was a good interview - you are an international mega star :)

Not sure about the mushy peas with spaghetti - not a fan of the green mush! But if you enjoy it, that is all that matters.

  12. Enjoyed catching up tonight and, my goodness, Australia now, your fame is certainly spreading. I cannot listen to most of your interviews for some reason on my computer yet, this one from Australia, no problem....having to listen to all of it so just waiting for you to come on.
Lovely photos of your walk, you always look so happy.
Still wondering what this `ironing` is that is being spoken of.
