Out of control

It's taking over again. The pile on the corner of the table has been growing steadily over the past few weeks. It's at the stage where my workspace is greatly reduced, as mounds of useful stuff keep reproducing. An idea comes to mind so I have to go in search of the appropriate pieces to add to my work. After much fiddling and deliberating, will it fit here, or would it be better there, they get tossed aside to join all the other good ideas that didn't materialize.
Time for a sort out I think. I have forgotten what's at the bottom of this pile, I need to re acquaint myself with my useful stuff, and maybe the process will trigger off more possible good ideas bouncing around in my head.
In the meantime, with the ever encroaching mountains of  tat art and craft materials, Mayze has found her own solution to the problem. No room left to laze in the sun, just lay on top of it.
Busy again, catch you soon. Thanks for reading. Toodle pip

  6. Hi.Mayze is a little darling, and oh so smart.Am sympathetic to your pile of stuff.I find it hard to get rid of useful things as well.Today I bit the bullet today and am recycling a huge container of plastic containers I've been saving. We don't have a separate freezer, just the refridgerator one at the moment and they are taking up space.I have a lot of fabric remnants too that are waiting to be used in projects. When I ask people if they would like some things I don't need any more most refuse so I usually donate. My hubby came home with raspberry plants from a friend who received them from us (when we had the farm)and were originally given to us by a lovely neighbour woman, who sadly, is gone now. Whenever I look at those berries I think of her and am so pleased to have some again at this new old house.Just as whenever I use the bag you gave me I think of you and wonder what your up to,busy bee.Bye for now,D.

    1. Hi Des. People look at my stuff and see rubbish, I can't give it away. I look at it and see useful crafting materials.

I say....How about starting a friendly swap of your small useful art junk for some of my small or others small art junk....uhhh crafty usefull treasures...art unassembled jewels etc...
Limit to mail able envelope size pieces...etc...
Say your little furry crafty patch, a small piece of variable color ribbon, a bead or two, a button or three, a paper scrap, etc for my little different color furry patch, a small piece of wider ribbon, a handmade bead or two, a button or four, scraps of variable colored paper, etc...even some lace or tatting scraps....I use all this stuff in my collages...mini scrap doll making, even jewelry making etc....I am in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains USA
Just an idea....??? Thanks B. Ruth
