I have a new artwork

I went back to the scene of the accident today, my insurers have asked me to draw a sketch of the road layout, for their records. While I was there I popped into the garage to see if they have made a start on their inspection. They have been a bit busy and are hoping to fit it into their work schedule on Monday.
No one has cleaned the debris away, it is still there, albeit in a lot more pieces as traffic has run over it. The policeman did move some of the larger pieces off the road and put them on the pavement. It seemed a shame to leave this one behind so I brought it home and cleaned it up.
I think it looks kind of arty hanging above my fireplace, I think I will leave it there ;0)

  1. Do you call this masterpiece 'accidental art'?

  2. Nice art. And I like the name Sarina said
accidental art. Fun. It is good you can make lite of your accident. Good luck getting the insurance working for you.

  3. It has some charm, as long as it doesn't bring tears to your eyes.

  4. Yes, I like 'accidental art' as well, thank you Sarina. I did it in a mad moment and didn't stop to think of an original title.

  5. It looks like something from startrek... I rather like it! I have all fingers crossed for you because the last time something like this happened to us... the car was a write off and the insurance was not enough to get a replacement of the same spec... it was very sad indeed. Hope you do better.

  6. HA HA! Nice one Ilona! There are similar exhibits at the Tate Gallery in London and they bring in millions of visitors every year. Hang on to it and make sure it's insured!! In a few years' time, your 'artwork' will be worth millions and you might even consider selling it to a rich Russian art collector? Just an idea! :)

  7. By the way Ilona, don't forget to sign it in PINK? nail varnish or a colour of your choice. Artwork is worth much more when the artist's signature is displayed on it.
