Groovy.

Isn't it amazing how a massive field can be ploughed in perfect straight lines. I passed this today on my five mile walk, and stopped to admire the sheer perfection of it. I suspect there are spuds planted as the furrows were quite deep. I would love to have a go at this. Maybe make it a bit arty with some wavy lines.

Over there behind the ploughed field is a pond, and in the distance is the council tip. Picture is a tad grainy, I zoomed in.

There was a nice sunset tonight. It had almost gone when I caught sight of it. I took a snap from the bedroom window.

It's been another warm day today, a shorts on kind of day. I enjoyed being outside, sat on the memorial bench and ate a choccy biscuit. Time for bed now. Goodnight.  ilona

  1. You could do a bit of groovy art on your lawns Ilona.I also noticed the lovely sky here when I was in the garden with the dogs earlier-I think the saying is "Red Sky at Night,Shepherds Delight" x

  2. I think it is just trying to make the most of each day at the moment and trying to find something pleasant to do!..Love your title Groovy by the way!.Your walks always take you to nice places but I must admit I havent done any walking for a while now.To be honest,I am getting a bit paranoid about it all. With my Mam breaking her wrist it has put extra pressure on because she is getting frustrated with how heavy the cast is and the itching in side it.I hate to see her in so much pain.My morning plan today is to get the bedding changed and washed..that could be nearer this afternoon because Hubby has been sleeping later because he cant sleep at night. Then water the plants..my kitchen scrap potatoes are coming through nicely, and the celery, lettuce are still regrowing in the window sill..free food!.I might plant a slice of tomato to grow some tomato plants, which are usually a success..but at the moment I cant really spare that slice of tomato, lol.Im starting to forget what normal life was!!.We have just got to keep on being strong and safe and I keep consoling myself by thinking that even Mick Jagger,Paul McCartney ect are going through the same, lol.Take care, xxx

    1. Hi Debi. You say my walks always take me to nice places. I could go further afield in the past and look for nice places, but at the moment all my photo's are from the same places. I look for something different each time I walk along the same paths. I notice changes, nothing stays the same.

    1. Ha ha, I think it's amazing how they make perfect straight lines. I wonder if they have a gadget in the cab to guide them. Like a computer screen, follow the line ahead. I'll ask a farmer when I next see one.
