Good luck Englebert

Just wanting to wish Englebert all the best for The Eurovision Song Contest, in May. Don't you think it is just fantastic that we are going to enter a real singer this time, and someone who still has a wonderful voice and such charisma at the age of 75. Go for it, we love you. All together now sing along with Enge.

  1. I saw him in Las Vegas more than 30 years ago and he's just as vibrant. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Check out my 3-ingredient spaghetti sauce. I'm #28. Come visit when you can.

  2. They don't make 'em like that any more :0) I remember hearing Please Release Me - I was 7 when it came out, and living in Leicester he was our 'claim to fame'! My mum's friend lived near him and his family.

  7. I so wish the UK would withdraw from Eurovision and take all the money they put into it with them. It's not about the song/singer anymore, it's purely political- I think we should just leave them to get on with it, without our funding. It doesn't matter who we have singing , we won't get the votes.

  8. What a shame we have not even got any good new talent here in Britain to enter this year`s contest. I wish Enge the best of luck, but I don`t think we will get a great chance to come even anywhere near the top. And I tend to agree with Scarlet. It`s a politically ruled contest and it doesn`t matter who we would enter.

  10. I love his voice too. It also takes me back to being a small child when I hear him sing 'Release Me'. Nostalgia seems to play a big part in my life these days! Maybe its my age! I totally agree with the above posters....we will never win due to Political crap. This is one entry into the Eurovision Song Contest that I WILL be watching. It will be the first time I've watched any of it since I was about 9 years old!! LOL.

  11. Oh no, not him again! Sorry Ilona, I simply cannot stand his voice, never could, nor the type of songs he sang.
