  1. I really enjoyed the first video - it has been a long time since I visited the area and it bought back lovely memories. Thanks so much.

  3. I do miss the Muppets - my favourites were Fozzie Bear (what a cutie); Animal (crazy little chap) and Statler & Waldorf (great humour). Those were the days... Could actually look forward to watching something decent on the tv instead of the reality rubbish and endless cookery programmes served up today. Amanda

  5. Your post and link to the video reminded me that I had done this walk in July 1989 when I was a lot younger and fitter than I am now! A group of us went on to do the "Trident Walk", a 150 mile circular route around the Lake District in absolutely beautiful weather. Several times we were so hot we jumped in one of the lakes to cool off. The views from all the peaks were magnificent. Thanks for reminding me of the experience!

  8. I've been considering the Lake District for a long distance walk - the video makes it appear so idyllic. I live in Canada and come over once a year for a long distance walk. I look forward to checking out your walks!
