Take four clean pieces of wood 29" x 3", and two batons 1.25" square.
Screw the batons to the four pieces, at each end.
You end up with a piece 29" x 12". This is the top. I am not going to tell you what it is yet, you can guess. I know what it is going to be but I am making it up as I go along. The only clues I will give you is that it will be something usefull for indoors and it will be varnished. Oh, and it won't be too complicated, I am not an experienced wood worker :-)
It's got to be a coffee table?
ReplyDeleteBTW it is not me that is clever doing the machine embroidery. The clever part is the machine, it's amazing, all I do is load the design, hoop the fabric and change the thread colour :o)

Can't wait for the next installment and well done; it looks fabulous so far - really inspiring. I might get my daughter to have a go at something like this; she could make a little table for her bedroom.
Sorry not a table, but you could put things on the top. It's what's underneath that's important. couldn't do any more today it's been raining.
