I've been out and taken a few snaps tonight. We seen to have more lights than in previous years. People are really in the Christmas spirit. This first one is always the best in the village. The big reindeer is a new addition to the display.

The Romans knew what they were doing when they invented Christmas - mind you they didn't have electricity back then.
ReplyDeleteI’m sure that makes for a lovely walk. People put in lots of hard work on their displays. To some I think it’s their art. I would love to have a place like that to walk and sip on my coffee taking all the light in. Since we celebrated with our adult children last weekend it’s been a quite and enjoyable day for hubby and me. His mother lives with us, she had a couple visitors which made her happy. The way our house is made she lives on one end and us on the other. So we greet everyone wish them Merry Christmas and then retreat to our cozy place while they visit with her. Expecting another quite day tomorrow. We will a actually take down the decorations. We didn’t do much. This will give me time to tidy everything up and get the house back in order. I will be able to relax Sunday before returning back to work..,blahhhh lol i am so so looking forward to retirement!!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!
