Lincolnshire Wolds Railway.

There was no one about when I visited the Station at Ludborough, so I was able to wander about and take photo's. It is situated about a twenty minute walk from the village. I noticed there wasn't a car park onsite. The leaflet says car parking is in Ludborough. The steam train goes to North Thoresby which is 1.5 miles away, so quite a short ride. They are working on opening up the track to Louth. It is all run by volunteers.
Static buffet car serving food and drinks.

There is all kinds of railway paraphernalia lying around for the enthusiast to inspect. There is an engine shed to have a look at.

An old fashioned phone box complete with telephone. Do you remember pushing Button B to see if anyone had not picked up their unused coins. 😁 Here is some additional information on these phone boxes.

A list of events for 2022. If you can't read this take a look at their web site. There is a smashing little video on it if you scroll down.
Perhaps worth a visit if you are out and about in Lincolnshire.

Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up soon. Toodle pip.  ilona
