What's on my plate?

Here is a short quickie video I knocked up yesterday. People ask me what I eat, can I give them a recipe. I don't have any recipes. Each meal is a variation of one I made before. I use up whatever I have in the fridge, the freezer, and the cupboards. I don't plan meals.
Thanks for popping in. We will catch up soon. Toodle pip.  ilona

  1. I do that too, Ilona. Today I boiled some rice, enough to put half in the freezer to nuke for another meal, chopped a lonely chicken breast and cooked it in a bit oil, added a tin of soup for sauce and some sweetcorn. Did 2 of us very nicely for tea. Thanks for your sensible advice, as always. Corinne

    1. Freezing cooked rice is a good idea. I am too lazy to do that, my rice comes ready cooked in the packet.

    1. Life is too short to be chained to the kitchen. Except of course if cooking is your hobby.

  3. I don't plan my meals either Ilona unless it's during the cold weather and I've made vegetable stew of sorts similar to yours-As long as theres no meat or fish that's fine-I do regularly cook for the dogs though x

    1. Your dogs are your babies. I don't cook for my cats, but I do spend a lot of time laying food out for them so they have a choice.
