Hello. Not everybody liked the Hotel. There was a campaign to try and get it closed down. Gary was not going to let that happen. There was a dispute about a licence, which eventually was sorted out. There was a lot of support from the neighbours, they wanted it to stay. A report was covered by BBC Television News.
And so the afternoon teas continued.
