ReplyDeleteYou are right to mistrust any news, no matter where it comes from. So much can be faked these days. The written word, the spoken word, the films and videos. The Bob Dylan film I watched this week is a mixture of old and new footage. Knitted together so you can't see the difference. There is a video out explaining how it was done. It makes for good viewing but there is very little there that you can trust to be true. So much can be covered up with good acting. This happens all the time in the real world. The lines between real and fake are very confusing. Especially as there is so much lying from those who are supposed to be running our country. Limit your screen time.

ReplyDeleteWe have had a pretty good run in the UK. There has been ups and downs over the last few years and we have weathered the storms, but now things are changing, and in my opinion, not for the better. The ordinary man/woman in the street trying to survive will suffer the consequences of those at the top of the pile as they impose their authority on us. The authority that they have bestowed upon themselves I might add. They are no better than me or you. Don't ever think that we have to bow down to them. There are more of us than there are of them.
