Keir Starmer
I lost my brother to cancer.
I was with him when he was told his diagnosis - a moment I will never forget. Throughout, the NHS respected and cared for him.
When he passed away, it hit me like a bus - even though I knew it was coming.
I'm determined that every person diagnosed with cancer gets the best possible chance of beating it.
Our National Cancer Plan is the most ambitious in a generation. It means earlier diagnosis, slashing waiting lists and investing in cutting-edge technology to build an NHS fit for the future.
So Mr Starmer shares his own family health matters in the hope it will garner some sympathy and support for the NHS. Hospitals are struggling to treat everyone who asks for help. They are overwhelmed with patients, so the Government give contracts to private health care companies to take up the slack.
Just wondered. Have the scientists discovered what has caused this explosion of cancer? What age groups are most affected? Are they looking into this? Are there any figures?
I lost my brother to cancer, it was a long time ago. He hadn't been living in the UK for many years so I can't say what was the cause.
Now I must do a Billy dog walk. Catch ya later. Toodle pip. ilona
EDIT
And another. He can't help himself. More bollox
I love this country. It is the greatest country in the world.
We are tolerant, decent and respectful – and unity is our strength.
But for too long, proud communities have been failed by politics and left powerless to do anything about it.
Our Pride in Place programme changes that. We are giving people the power to build up their communities. We’ve already invested thousands into communities across Britain. Now, we are giving thousands more the opportunity to transform their local area.
Putting local people in control and building a Britain that works for all.
Another edit
It’s not too difficult to put two and two together…5G masts and that Covid jab are the first two things that come to mind
ReplyDeleteYou could be onto something there.
DeleteI've lived next to a BT sub-station and all its added on mobile mast(s) for 28 years,.... I'm convinced I'm gong to get all sorts of cancers or I already have them, but I will never be able to prove it will I? Norma

ReplyDeleteSmoking is responsible for so many cancers. My Father and Father in law both died of lung cancers after 45+ years of smoking.
ReplyDeleteThere isn’t an “explosion of cancer” as such - diagnostics are the best now they’ e ever been, meaning more people get diagnosed with it rather than dying from seemingly other causes - that is now combining with a lot of people having avoided GP consultations during 2020/21 meaning we’re seeing more deaths from cancer, , and more cases being diagnosed already at stage 4. Better diagnosis of diseases always appears as there being more of it - although ultimately it’s not that way.
ReplyDeleteI think you have sugar coated the situation. People have avoided going to the doctors because they knew that the certain mandated treatment was not in their best interests. The whole purpose of it was to frighten people. They were bullied into accepting it. Now the Government are panicking because because it is they who have created the situation. It's not about better diagnosis of diseases. My sister and her husband went along with it, and now they are fighting cancer. Too late to put things right.

ReplyDeleteI'm firmly convinced the 'medical treatment' given in 2021 has caused the upsurge in heart problems and cancer. I've seen a huge increase in emergency ambulances on the road since then.
