Pardon?
ReplyDeleteI agree, brain workout!
ReplyDeleteSadly I was able to read that - note to self (stay off the texting for a while!)
ReplyDeleteNo, no no! It is bad, it is wrong and it hurts my brain! Please revert to your normal plain speaking self.
ReplyDeleteWot? I couldn't understand th@t.
ReplyDeleteunderstood some of it but can we have the 'proper english' version as well please!

Oh goodness, you've made me feel so old!

I love this, much quicker all round.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandson often uses it in texts.
Not that I am proficient in it. lol

What a load of codswollop! Do you really want to add Rubbish as a second lingo to your knowledge of good English? I wouldn`t!
ReplyDeleteIs this the standard of English language being taught in schools now?
ReplyDeleteI can read it all! However, if saving strokes is the point, why use capitals??? "Caps" is one of the few shortcuts I take in writing unofficial missives. I don't text. However, I can work my way through several languages, including Old and Middle English Greek, Latin, and Spanish, maybe a bit of Japanese. Don't make me work to figure out meaning. That is what I tell those who leave out punctuation, capitals at the beginning of sentences, paragraphs, do not understand orderly thinking and writing, and spell atrociously. Use the common accepted code. I know you are only playing with us, but stop..lol.
ReplyDeleteFunny, but mully was the code to copy.
I can read it all too but it actually took me longer, lol. I thought I was reading Beowulf :-))
