ReplyDeleteNo. I have lived on my own since I was 18. I have travelled the country and into Europe driving a lorry, and slept in it.

ReplyDeleteI can afford a night or two in a top class hotel. It is an option, and I have choices. Indeed there was a posh hotel opposite Patchings, I could see the golfers from my car.
DeleteI sleep well in the car. I like the freedom it gives me to get up when I like, go to bed when I like, and eat when I like, without having to keep to hotel or B & B timetables.
Car camping is great fun. It's not a hardship at all. Tony and I will resume our car camping adventures as soon as he is well enough. I've really missed the freedom it gives.
