One month left.

Here we are at the start of the last month of the year. It's time to check in with our walking miles. How have you all done? My calendar tells me that I will not reach the magical 1000 miles by the 31st. But I've done ok. I am on 802 miles. That's fine by me. I am dividing my time between other activities I enjoy  doing. It's all about balance really.

Picture from way back. Me with red hair enjoying a Magnum ice cream. I joined a sponsored walk.

Today looks a bit dismal. I see rain, and it's blowing sideways in the wind, but I don't care. An afternoon of fun is arranged.
Enjoy your Sunday. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. Hello Ilona and fellow walkers,
103 kilometers in November makes a total so far of 862. Besides feeling happy and healthy it makes me feel proud and though not aiming for 1000 kilometers in 2024 I might finish quite close.
    Have a beautiful Sunday.
    Cheers!
    Jeanneke.

  3. Congratulations Ilona on the miles you’ve achieved. I must admit I’ve gone all out for this because after a difficult year doing something active was what I needed. I’ve walked 136 miles this month so a grand total of 1471 miles to date. This has been a good month for me after getting some kind of winter virus last month. I’ve bounced back and I think my level of fitness and a healthy diet helped. Could have been a lot worse if I’d been vaccinated - lol.

    1. Hello tbg. It's funny that, putting yourself through a regular workout is like a tonic. Batter the germs to death and get out there. A healthy diet makes all the difference. Glad you are feeling better.
