Good evening. It's voting day in the UK. Did you put your cross against the candidate of your choice? There is just under an hour left before it closes at 10pm.
Yes, I did vote. It is my duty to put a cross against the name of the candidate I have chosen. I hope they win. I will watch for the results tomorrow.

Yes I voted. My daughters do too, because 'Mrs Banks said they should!' (From Mary Poppins - they learned very early on!) I had my eyes tested today and told the young lady that she should make time to vote. All women should. The privilege was fought hard for.
ReplyDeleteI had a discussion with a friend, about who to vote for. I said did you read the leaflet that came through the door with the details of all the candidates. She said no, she put it straight in the recycling bin. If people choose not to vote then they don't have any right to moan if it all goes tits up.
