Oh yes it is. Do you have first hand knowledge of the situation? Are you there onsite? Do you know Heidi personally? The canal will be closed for the best part of a year. She can wait it out, but several of them are organising a lift out.

ReplyDeleteAll the boaters have been talking about the breach, giving their own stories of how it has affected them. I watch several of them, and if they were not directly affected at the point of collapse, they are none the less stuck on a section of canal that they wish to escape from. They are talking of banding together and getting a crane organised. Not because they have to, because they want to.
