What I did, what I ate, what I saw.

 Good evening.

Here are a few quick photo's from the last couple of days.

This is a public footpath. It looks well and truly churned up by the tractors going up and down to access the turf fields. No litter here, but when I come out onto the road at the end of it, there will be lots of litter to pick up. My bag is already half full.

There is something striking about a row of skeleton trees against a moody sky. I have photographed this scene before.

Lunch yesterday.

Lunch today, eggy bread omelette and beetroot.

I wanted to take photo's of these decorated houses in the village, before all the lights get taken down and put away for another year.

I wanted to get the moon in one of the pictures.
This display is a stunner. If you stand there for five minutes the colours change every few seconds.
That's it for tonight. Mayze is waiting for a cuddle.
Have a good weekend. Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. There are some stunning light displays there. I love the photo of the trees too. I have a view of a hilltop crowned with trees from an upstairs window and I often take a minute to just stand and look at it when I draw the curtains in the evening. It just looks so peaceful and so 'right'.

    1. Trees are a blessing, and if you can see them from close to your house all the better. These trees remind me of soldiers standing in a line.

  2. I agree those are pretty lights in your village. I also like the tree one as well.

    1. The lights make a walk around the village more pleasurable. It looks empty and dark when they are taken down. Oh well, we will be getting some longer days soon.
