Nest building begins.

 Good morning.

A quick post before Crafty Club. I am looking out of my front window watching the tiny birds coming for the feather dusters sticking out of the hedge It's nest building time again. It's delightful to see them. Some pictures from a year ago.

Last year they stripped every last bit from the feather dusters.
Now I must wash my hair and get some breakfast.
Catch ya later. Toodle pip.   ilona

    1. You could look around in peoples front gardens, then knock on the door and ask if you can have some.

  2. Are those the tops you get off the neighbors ornamental grass? We have some of that grass and the birds love it. I hope we can see more hummingbirds this year. We usually have a lot, but last year I think we saw 2 or 3. Hope all the ladies enjoyed your coffee morning. ☕️☕️

    1. Yes they are. My friend Barry lives in a bungalow up the road. They grow thick and fast and tall every year and he doesn't like them. Sadly he chops them down so as soon as I see them I go and ask him for some. The stems are really thick so I take my secateurs. Crafty Club was a lot of fun this morning. It was Pat's birthday and we all had cake. A good turn out this week.
