Hello. I'm on my lunch break.
Just spent the morning finishing off the litter pick which I started at the weekend. Only one more bag and that should do it. Erm.. no. It never is one more bag. You think you've got it all, you backtrack to return to your car, and bugger me, there is plenty more that you missed the first time.
Poor car, looking a bit mucky now.
I deposited it at the same road sign on the bend, as they were so quick to pick it up last time. Job done, now it's me time. Glorious sunshine here. Got to catch a bus. See you later. Toodle pip. ilona
Much as I enjoy your litter picking posts, as a long time fan I think you have gone a bit off piste! What happened to the field walks and the videos about food bargains?? Im not a troll, far from it. But your posts are getting a tad boring xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you for being honest. Now I will be honest. This is my online diary, I write it for me. It's about what I do, my interests, how I fill my time, where I go, the people I meet, and my thoughts on different topics. You are welcome to read it. If the subjects are not to your liking I suggest you stop reading it. You could always have a break and come back later. You might find something else more to your liking.
DeleteI’m really pleased about Ilona’s posts about the sheer scale of litter in the UK and her efforts to help clean up her area. Far too many people simply stroll on by and think litter is now part of the landscape. Attention needs to be drawn to what’s becoming a catastrophic problem caused by a big majority who are too thick to care.
DeleteYou make me chuckle, tbg. Direct and to the point. Trashing our countryside is now considered a national sport. We have to fight back.
Deleteilona, you are forging your own path in life. I enjoy following your journey on all subjects. Life takes us on kinds of adventures. The blog is your journey and I appreciate you taking us along. Keep on keeping on mother!!! 😊
ReplyDeleteThe thing is Tammy, that I don't comment on other blogs and tell them what they should be writing about. I don't get it. It's ok if something comes up on a forum and opinions are asked for, but this is not a forum.
