It has been very hot today, the summer is back.
This afternoon I went to The Range to stock up on cat food. I am getting through lots of Kitten Purina dry nibbles. The cats, the hedgehogs, and the birds all eat it. At £15 a bag, and I got three, feeding pets and wildlife can become a bit expensive.
The Range is on a Retail Park, in close proximity to the two Industrial Estates where I pick litter. So it's easy to combine journeys. I spent an hour today at Flixborough Industrial Estate. Anybody fancy a pickled onion. Found in that hedge bottom on the right there, with a lot of other hidden rubbish. I have already done this road a week ago, but there is always more to find.
Another bag filled, and dropped off at my usual spot at the pond.
I'm about to eat my dinner, so I'll get on with that. I am looking after Janets cats, so one more visit before bed time. I watched a bit of telly while I sat with them. Have you seen that programme Real Housewives? Ladies glammed up to the eyeballs, long fluffy blonde hair. Ten minutes was enough. Do people really watch that drivel? Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip. ilona
I saw a few minutes of one once. The women had more plastic in them than a Tupperware lady's car!
ReplyDeleteA jar of pickled onions must surely rank as one of your most unusual finds.
