Delightful mandalas

Hooooray I have finished this mandala. It is eight and a half inches across. The background is a piece of black fabric. The hoop is wrapped with pink ribbon. The big coloured stones were given to me by Jane at the Crafty Club. I have picked up some of the trimmings from Arts and Craft Fairs. The Range shop has a pretty good selection of trimmings for crafters. Everything is stitched on, I don't use glue. The back is fully enclosed.

I stitched the small pearls on with white cotton, but then thought it would look better if I put some red embroidery thread in between each one. The big metal ring I wrapped with turquoise wool then did two rows of yellow and red crochet around it.

How does it compare to these bigger ones I did. There are a lot of buttons on these. I didn't put any buttons on the new one.

Four smaller mandalas I did earlier.
A friend at Crafty Club has given me some more hoops of different sizes. I think I might get started on another one. Sorry, I won't be selling them. They are fun to make. Sorting out which colours to use, and making sure all the small pieces fit together in a perfect circle. My favourite is the bigger one top right with the orange binding.

Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
