Trendy me.

A news item caught my eye this morning, if you can call it news. The Independent have a feature about  ladies wearing men's boxer shorts. Apparently they are a fashion trend right now.

The trendiest fashion accessory of the year has been plucked from men’s underwear drawers and thrown onto the runway. Briefs, tighty whities, trunks – whatever you call them, women are wearing them.

Well Miss Ellie, I own up, it was me that started it. Maybe not boxer shorts, but boys pants. And I wear them under my clothes not on top of them. Pics from 2011, 2016, and 2018. Maybe I ought to do some updated ones to show I am still wearing them. 😜😂😎

Coffee Morning this morning, so I must get ready for that. Catch ya later. Toodle pip.  ilona

  1. I'm with you on this Ilona. I wear men's pants too they're much more comfortable, especially for me as more of an outdoor creature. Marks and Spencer's lingerie department is full of rack upon row of ruched, ruffled, sequin-encrusted, lacy, lumpy, embroidered, bedecked and be-feathered pants, the purpose of which I cannot fathom! Cheers, Karen

    1. Frilly knickers are fine, if you want to impress someone. Those times are but a distant memory to me now.

  2. I wear mens pants also - I've done with those flimsy ones - I started with someone's cast offs - rather than waste them and never looked back - Your colours are nicer than mine I must say Ilona x

  3. I don't wear men's pants but ladies full briefs. My hubby calls them Christmas Pudding pants! He seems to like them, and I opt for comfort every time these days!!

    1. No, it was in the house when I moved in 22 years ago. I can live with it. No need to be so rude.

  5. The pants look great and will hold up better in the washing machine than the flimsy frilly ones. I need to check these out as boys sizes would fit me nicely.

    1. I must have saved a lot of money over the years. They wash ever so well, never fall apart. Look for 14 - 15 year old boys pants. Usually in packs of 4 or 5. Look in the non food in supermarkets. There is no VAT on children's clothes, so they are cheaper.

    1. Strange that this post is about pants, and people comment on my decor, (there was another one but I deleted it). Someone said they couldn't live with it. I am not going to throw out good quality carpet. With three cats it's impossible to have a perfect showhouse.

  7. I find mens underpants too full at the front. Ladies haven't got anything to fill the front part. I have worn my husband's when I was desperate but prefer my own "full briefs". Each to their own. Betty.
