Good evening. My brains were fried this morning. You might be under the impression that I know what I am doing with computers. Wrong. I know a few basics, but when I get a strange message come up on the screen I am totally lost. I was trying to upload photo's and a video from the two memory cards I use in the two cameras. When things weren't happening as they should I tried to navigate my way through the gobbledygook. Round and round I went, back and forth, and getting nowhere. I was lost.
I rang Keith my trusty computer genius. He built this computer. Luckily he was at home. Half an hour on the phone and he talked me through it. Navigating your way around certain tasks is not straight forward, as you probably know. When I have learnt how to do something I stick to that same method. Doing the same thing over and over again. When there is a spanner in the works it is confusing. So now, after much sweat and swearing, Keith has taught me another way to move the pictures from camera to computer, so this is what I need to practice.
I needed to go for a walk after that. Luckily it's been a sunny day. The only photo's I took were on the way back as the sun was going down.
Now this is very strange. Exactly the same sunset, about 20 minutes apart, and they are different colours. No filters have been used. It could be caused by how far I zoomed in or zoomed out. Mind you, if you took the time to study sunsets as they happen, or even sun rises, the changes can be quite startling. See how the orange is turning to red.
My dinner tonight. Veggies and noodles drizzled with toasted sesame seed oil. My favourite.
