Painting pylons

Good evening.
Tiredness is catching up with me now. I went to Kingston upon Hull this afternoon. On the way to Barton to get the bus I spotted two men working on a pylon. Had to ask them what they were doing. On closer inspection I see they are covered in paint. One of them came down to have a chat with me. The third one came out of his van.
They were such fun, telling me all about their job. I asked if I could put their picture on my blog. They offered to pose, and said, yeah, sure.

Now I am yawning so I will cut this short. I have some photo's of Hull which I will post tomorrow.

Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

    1. These lads were such a jolly bunch. They were covered with paint splatters. I love good old fashioned grafters who are happy in their work.

  3. What a great group😊😊😊. Working together and getting the job done. So nice when you work hard and enjoy your coworkers. You go home tired but feeling happy.

  4. Since being retired I do miss that Friday feeling. It felt good to go home after a week at work. I worked in admin as a secretary for 27 years. Some days were very challenging, some very rewarding. After being made redundant I went to work in the NHS but somehow it never felt the same.
