Worldwide tech outage.

The news channels are all reporting this today. Make sure you always have cash as a back up. This is likely to be a big problem in the future. Of course people will always say internet banking is such a convenient way to manage ones finances. So easy to pay for purchases with cards, phone's apps, etc. So easy to order groceries online and get them delivered to your door. What happens when you get to the checkout in the supermarket and they say the computers are down, cash only. You are stuffed, no shopping to take home.
Looking like a sunny day today. Now I am going shopping.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.  ilona
PS. I am not worried by the lack of comments on my blog. Silly trolls are being deleted. I have plenty to do on my yooootooob channel. 👦👧👨👩👪👫👬👭🙋😍😎

    1. It will be interesting to see what their next tactics are going to be. I can't see them giving up just yet. I see Von der Leyen has just been voted in for another term. Christine didn't half give her some stick. The Polish MEP really laid into her as well, but the woman has got thick skin. They won't get rid of here very quickly. Fun and games, eh!

    1. The problem of not being able to pay electronically in a shop can be easily rectified by carrying cash. When there is a world wide outage it throws everything into chaos. Hundreds of aircraft are grounded, and people die because the life saving equipment in hospitals malfunctions. Dad was right, flis.

  4. I always use cash where possible. I wonder if this will make more people think about using cash again. Nick

  5. David's thoughts on this subject. . . . .
What a wake-up call. What an example of what is planned. This is why they want the end of cash and an all-digital currency. It gives the Cult total control of the population when at any time they can pull the plug on financial transactions to blank-out everything - money, media, Internet, movement. When cash has gone human society will cease to function in an instant.
    That's the idea.

  6. Should be a wake-up call to everyone that you need to have a Plan B, and not put all your eggs in one basket. When I worked in IT I used to get it in the neck from others for complaining about our dependence on the Microsoft Windows virus, and not having a diversity of infrastructure. Looks like some of those airlines could have used that advice earlier today.

    1. Thanks Will. My computer knowledge is very limited. There were reports of it being software failure when updating security systems. They then said it could be fixed with patches. Others say is was a planned outage, and was a test to see what effect it would have on our everyday lives. Whatever the reason I think it's fair to say that the whole world will grind to a halt, which should cause alarm bells to ring for everyone.

    1. As far as looking after our own personal finances, using cash and shopping locally has got to be best all around.
