Three flowery cats bag

Ok I won't keep you in suspenders any longer, this is what I did with the flowery cats....I made another bag :o) It's in a lovely pale lilac, very difficult to get the correct shade on the photographs, but these are pretty close.
It's a sling over the shoulder type bag, doesn't have any fastening but I reckon it doesn't need one if you don't stuff it too full, and you trap the top between your arm and body. The fabric is from Hull Scrapstore and cost pennies, bought with a massive bundle of other fabric. It's got a rubbery backing on it, think it must have been used for blackout curtains.
I did a tutorial on this type of bag before, it's so easy to make. If you want to make a bag and decorate it, you need to sew on the bits before you stitch the bag together. The flowery fabric works very well as a lining as well.
I am very pleased, it looks lovely, very pretty.

    1. Ilona, the pussy cats sewn together and filled with maybe sand to make the sit would make lovely door stops, I have a dog one which I paid the earth for, but a cat would look so smart and elegant holding the door open.

  9. It looks lovely, gorgeous colours.

How they're all sat watching the flowers reminds me of a 'You've been framed' clip with a group of kittens following the movement of a light shining on the wall.
