  1. Thank you for this beautiful selection of music! I am definitely playing it here in my house, all the way in Canada.

Thank you for your blog which I have read faithfully for a few years now.

All the best to you in 2017!

  3. Thanks for sharing lovely soothing music on this chilly evening in Oregon where I'm enjoying a cup of hot tea after dinner of beef and veggie stew from our crockpot. I miss the Christmas music even though the holiday is over. Isn't it Bankers holiday in England today or did I get that mixed up with another holiday? Happy days!

  4. Hope you had a good Christmas Ilona; we did, one present each and no-nonsense food. I've just met my local dustmen (lovely lads) who informed me they were going back to the depot with a full load, to return and go round again, and they thought possibly a third time to collect all the packaging/paper etc. What an absolute shame that people don't learn and go mad buying all this rubbish. The music is beautiful, thank you for that. Amanda

  5. Thank you for that, I really needed that, so calming and beautiful. We have had the most awful year, the worst of it being the death of our dear Dad who's funeral was just before Christmas. We are moving house in the new year, downsizing for retirement and prioritising our family and leisure time without having to spend money to do it,no amount of money can give you love and friendship and a cuddle is priceless, from our dogs and our two legged family and friends. This year has brought you sadness too as you lost dear Rocky, time does heal doesn't it but still the odd tear will fall and that's ok. Best wishes for the New Year and thank you for your entertaining and thought provoking blog, Chrissie.

  6. Close my eyes, no! the pictures are beautiful. Thanks for a brilliant blog Ilona, now I know I'm not the only one. I quite like the merriment of the season in a pagan sense, looking out for your neighbours, friends and family, eating well and drinking a little, singing and an affinity with nature bringing in the evergreens, but not the commercial side of it. sad that tv news is a comment on how much they imagine will be spent on the sales, and most of it by overseas visitors. What do they really think of Britain? I do not do big family get togethers, but enjoy inviting a couple over and go out to friends but the day is at home with my animals. There is such a stigma about being on your own on one day but from my experience the loneliest place in the world for a woman is trapped in an unhappy marriage. Looking forward to reading more blogs and not spending more than I have to, best wishes.
