Two more makes three.

As Heidi was the featured cat yesterday, it's only right that the other two get a look in today. Mayze joins me in the bed each morning. She spends the night on the bed, then sometime around five or six o clock I feel her whiskers against my face as she burrows down underneath the duvet. She wants me to stretch my arm out so she can rest her head on it. Then we both go back to sleep.

Sorry the pics are a bit fuzzy, I could only guess when I pressed the shutter with my left hand. Sharing another 20 minutes snuggled up together. That look of sheer bliss on her face is a lovely start to the day.

Sometimes Oscar stays in at night, but he prefers to be outside in the warmer weather. He is always at the door first thing in the morning waiting to be let in, and follows me around until I put his food bowl down. This morning he sniffed it and walked away, to the back door to be let out. Oh dear, he doesn't like the food I have given him. He is starting to get a bit picky.

Ten minutes later I am sat at the table with my coffee, overlooking the back garden, and his head pops up, talking to me to be let back in. I let him in and he decides to give the food a try in case there is no more on offer. Suitably full he goes onto his fleece on the sofa and has a snooze for a couple of hours.

It's gone a bit chilly today and the long socks are back on. It's trying to rain, I wish it would, the garden needs a good soaking. Toodle pip. ilona

  1. I love the cuddle cat photos!.My Lily does this but first she launches herself on me from the shelf behind my bed!.A bit un nerving when I am fast asleep!Other times she lays at the back of my head with her legs dangling at the side of my ears!.Oscar has his feet under the table now doesnt he,lol. He knows where he is well loved and looked after.Weathers not too bad here today cause although we have had the odd shower for about 5 mins, its still quite warm.Ive been out in the garden repotting a big cactus plant that gets bigger every year.It was only a tiny little thing when I bought it 8 years ago for 50p!.Im off dog walking this afternoon with my Daughters Labradors. So I hope the rain holds of for a bit longer!xx

  2. I wish my cats would be more cuddly, but they do sleep in the bed. They are good alarm clocks though and wake us around 530 for breakfast. I'm a bit jealous of your chilly weather~~ Will be 87 I think today here in FL. Enjoy your Thursday!

  3. Gorgeous photos of dear sweet Mayze. I have one like her little Amy. We also have two boys in common Oscar and Benny and he is a fuss pot at times depends what food is on offer but to be fair to him he is extremely loving and a sweetheart. Great photos Ilona of your best friends even though sometimes they are contrary as they say. Animals have always been in my life and have been treasures - the hard bit is when they become ill and we lose them but worthwhile for the love and fun they give us. Loved yesterdays video I went to a charity shop today and bought very reasonably a lovely crochet throw it is so pretty and will brighten up the living room when it ages a bit the cats will be on it as a bed. Lots of love to you and your darlings. Love Liz Amy and Benny.xxxx
