Fashionista

Aye up mi duck, I've spent some money. The parcel arrived yesterday. Maybe I should make an unboxing video. Slow motion, removing the packaging piece by piece, like a pass the parcel game. Eventually revealing what exciting goodies have landed on my doorstep.
THE BIG REVEAL. I have a new hoodie. I could have sent cash, but UK Column are happy to receive a cheque in the post. Royal Mail do a guaranteed next day delivery, and this arrived a week later. I am  chuffed. It's very good quality, and looks pretty trendy. Excited to show it off in support of my favourite news channel. I will wear it to the coffee morning tomorrow.

The sun is back hooooray. Let's hope it continues. Thanks for popping in.

    1. I wondered whether to get the full zip, or the half zip. Do I want a jacket style or a sweatshirt style. Then I had to decide on the size. This is a large, plenty of room to wear something underneath it. I like the big pockets.

    1. The only hoodies I ever had before have always been jackets. I am quite liking that casual wear now comes with hoods.

  6. The trouble with UK Column is nearly all their stuff is on video. It just takes so long to watch it. I far prefer things in print as it is so much quicker for me to read than watch and listen to the video.

It is the same with books on tape. I can read a book in a quarter of the time.

    1. Hi Anonymous, I work with the "Articles" editorial team at UK Column and we publish (on average) 5 new in-depth articles per week on the homepage. As the team grows slowly (with gratitude to our supporters for making this possible) we hope we'll be able to increase the number of articles we publish each week. Best wishes, Josie

    1. Nasty comment from Anon. I try very hard never to wear any logos - don’t see why I should pay to help someone’s advertising but the colour looks good on you..

    2. Hello Peg. I support UK Column, I am happy to wear their logo. News programme on their web site live every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 1pm, and after those times on catch up.

    3. I have seen some of it. Not for me. Too “shouty”

    4. What does 'shouty mean?' The presenters speak normally. I don't understand that.

    5. Maybe shouty was the wrong word. I don’t like the over use of emotive language. It is all so intensive as opposed to neutral. Also there seems to be little questioning of people interviewed - for example the current Andrew Bridgen interview.
