Back again, I just watched your Sunday video and I have to say I agree with so much of it. but; the true reason that I am back commenting is that I wanted to share that I fell in love with your blog the first time that I found it, because your post was on one of your walking adventures. The USA has not been as gracious as the UK in the fact of having walking paths from town to town or village to village, it would be so nice if we did. Here it is busy roads and highways with drivers that are distracted with their cell phones or worrying about their day (mainly because they are always running late and therefore driving above the speed limit required on that road) my point being it's not safe or even close to the tranquil fields and streams that you journey through on your adventures. If I tried a walking adventure here it would be like playing dodge ball only with automobiles. Not a game that I'm ready to play, LOL. Well on this visit to your blog I discovered your link to your walking adventures (I know, I'm a bit slow on my discovery) and I'm am so very happy to have found it. Now I plan on visiting each one and enjoying the tour with you. Thanks for doing this, I'm looking forward to them. Many generations ago my family both mother's side and father's came to America from around the area of Yorkshire, Leeds and the Isle of Man. Deep down, even though I've never been to any of these places (and never will at my age) there seems to be a connection deep down in my heart . . . I know that sounds wacky, but it's my story and I'm sticking to in. Anyway; thank you for your lovely, frank and downright down to earth blog. Have a great week, stay strong and keep being your true self, you are a breath of fresh air :)
Hello. My working life ended 15 years ago. Now I just please myself. This is my diary. What I do and what I think about. You are welcome to read it. Toodle pip.
I believe that I'm a very thrifty person, but you've got me bet, LOL
