Saturday morning at Skipton. I was awake at 6am and got up at 7am. Coffee on. The front door was open and the security staff were arriving. That's handy, I can use the conveniences. The show doesn't start until 10am so I will pack a sandwich and go for a walk. As I remember I can get onto the canal from here and walk into town.
Terraced houses on the other side of the canal. Not very good for car parking if you live here.
I crossed over here to have a look at the Railway Station, where I spoke to the shuttle bus driver.
Into the canal basin, close to the town and the bus station.
Getting the pleasure boats ready for the customers.
What's your address? Oh, I live Back o the Beck. 😎😁😜 The beck being a stream just the other side of the wall.
A few photo's from around that area. The church next to the castle. I have been in the castle on two previous visits so didn't need to go in again. No charge to go in the church. A group of people were setting up a charity stall. With the market outside it was promising to be busy.
Just down the road in the main street, I saw this decorated door. Have to take a photo.
