Yesterday I visited my friend in a care home. Two other people were also visiting. We all left at the same time. As we were walking out of the building the woman said to me, 'We had our covid vaccinations yesterday'. I don't know why she said that, as the subject never came up in the conversation.
I could have ignored her as we were seconds away from getting in our cars. I replied, 'I haven't had any at all, not flu, not shingles, nothing'.
And then we went our separate ways. I quietly thought to myself, well good luck with that.
People can do what they like with their own bodies. Stand in line, roll up their sleeves, me next. I'm just glad that I didn't partake. One less thing to worry about.
Catch ya later. Toodle pip. ilona
