Learning starts at birth

I was going to write a post about the current situation, until I saw this.
I have never had a child, never wanted to be a mother, but I can see how very precious children are.
This video sends out a clear message.
Teach your child the skills you yourself already have. Whatever those life skills happen to be. Creativity has no boundaries.
Have a wonderful Saturday. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. It goes without saying, that responsible parents always try and educate their children at home, passing on their interests and skills, and including subjects far beyond the school curriculum. Our kids went to just about half the castles in Wales, many archaeological sites, historic houses, and read widely. I taught them about nature and the countryside; they are all skilful cooks; my eldest daughter loves crafts and is adept at crochet in particular. They have travelled widely and have broad interests. If I want to know about any current news I ask my son, although he researches many subjects, some way beyond my intellect. It upsets me to see children ignored whilst their parents scroll through pages on their mobiles, as if the children didn't exist. You owe your children a future.
