Believe in yourself.

The Great Reset is a phrase often searched for when looking for information on, The Great Reset. It is also a great marketing tool for those who are selling a service or product. Searches may drive potential customers to their channel, so using words that the algorithms pick up is a good move.

I clicked on one this morning, which caught my eye. I was browsing to see what new yoootooobers I could take a look at. The title of the video is, The COMING Great Reset Shift. Worth a look I thought. The lady spoke with passion so I listened a bit more. She said Are you ready for the coming Great Reset shift? Learn about it and how amazing it can be for you.

Ok, I am listening. Basically her message was, (my interpretation), you can't change what is happening, but you can change how you deal with it. You can't change other people's perception of it, but you can change your own.

I can agree with that to a certain extent, but it does seem to be a bit of a cop out. Change happens very slowly, and to let things go over your head when you know they are wrong, in my opinion is cutting yourself off from reality.

The lady has several links to her other platforms. The usual, instagram and facebook. Her own web site has merchandise for sale, and offers a monthly newsletter for those who become members of her site. $29.99 a month. Other benefits are powerful spiritual teachings to help you to step into your quantum power.

If you go into her store there are various products available. You can buy extra master classes. There is one called Break Through Fear ecourse, for $328.

There will be a lot of people struggling to understand the current situation, and will think the answers they are looking for can be accessed by paying large amounts of money to Life Coachers, or influencers. Please think twice if you are tempted by this route. You can't chase away fear by emptying your bank account to pay for these courses. Fear comes from within you, and has to be tackled by your own internal desire to overcome it. Read as much as you can from many sources. You will know what is meaningful to you, and what is not.

Make contact with like minded people. Gather your own support group of friends and family around you. Stick with the people you feel comfortable with. You can't pay someone to be your friend. They might seem all lovedovey, but they are running a business. The most important thing is to believe in yourself.

Thanks for popping in. I have a video uploading from yesterday, so will be getting on with other things while that is happening. Toodle pip   ilona

Where was I?

Today I had a trip out to a town in Yorkshire. Or maybe it is a city. It is on the River Calder. It was a lovely sunny day, but it was a bit windy. I spent a lot of the time indoors. The large building is next to a busy road junction, and close to the river on the other side. It has very nice gardens full of flowers, and manicured lawns. The car park is across a road. I paid £5 to park. I walked over a bridge to cross the river, and paid £10 to go into the building. There was something I wanted to see.

Any guesses? I will tell you about it tomorrow. Toodle pip.   ilona

Not that simple

If you want to read the document which the Government have drafted detailing the agreement between the UK and Rwanda for taking in our illegal immigrants for processing, click here.  The participants in this scheme being the UK and Rwanda.

Scroll down to paragraph 16, Resettlement of Vulnerable Refugees. This is an exchange agreement, where we send them a load of people that we don't want, and they send us a load of people that they don't want. I don't hear any mention of that in the MSM. One small paragraph has very conveniently been buried.

16 Resettlement of vulnerable Refugees

16.1 The Participants will make arrangements for the United Kingdom to resettle a portion of Rwanda’s most vulnerable refugees in the United Kingdom, recognising both Participants’ commitment towards providing better international protection for refugees.

So, if they manage to actually get our people onto a plane, after many months, if not years, of lawyers fighting for their human rights, do you think they are going to physically walk onto the aircrafts themselves? I doubt it very much. My feeling is that this is not going to work.

I do wish our Government would give us the whole picture. But did they ever? History Debunked gives us his thoughts in this video

Perhaps Priiiitti has a few more tricks up her sleeve which she is not telling us about.
I've had a good day. I will sort some photo's out. Toodle pip.   ilona

CBDC explained

What do you know about Central Bank Digital Currency? Maybe not a lot, like me. I find this video very useful in trying to understand what is going on in the financial world.
It is something we all need to be aware of. The Governments of the world want to control every aspect of our lives by controlling our money. See how that word, 'control' always puts in an appearance whenever anything connected to the Government comes into play. The future looks very bleak if CBDC is allowed to take hold. They will try very hard to push ahead with this. It is already happening in it's early stages in some countries.
Sorelle Amore is a financial expert. Watch to the end, she gives some pointers about how to stop it happening and how you can keep control of your money. The first and most important step is to keep using cash. Decline any new purchases which involve using plastic, as much as you can.
I will leave it with you. I am sewing while listening to videos. Multi tasking.

First night out for ages.

Yesterday was a haircut for me, then a dog walk, then a bath. Leaving it till the last minute to get ready for the 'do' at the Arts Centre. What to wear, just grab anything out of the wardrobe. Angela came with me. Her getting ready routine is much the same as mine. She came out of the garden 20 minutes before I was due to pick her up. Even so, she managed to put her lippy on and paint her nails at the front door.

On arrival we were greeted by a table laid out with drinks and nibbles. There were three types of vegan snacks. Two of them were little envelope type parcels stuffed with something or other. I am not familiar with this type of food. One of them set fire to my mouth, a samosa I think they call it. I only ate half of it and asked for a glass of orange juice to cool down my burning tongue. I won't be having that again. There was a plate of what looked like testicles. Little balls of something beetroot coloured. They were very nice. We juggled food in one hand and drink in the other and made our way to the main hall.

Dominic the boss introducing the sponsors and handing over to one of the judges to announce the winners. No prize for me, booohooo.
The prize winners gather for a group photo. I tried to get the photographers interested in taking my photo, but they weren't having any of it.
The exhibition finishes soon and I have to collect my pictures next week.
I called in at Aldi on the way home. My fridge is now stocked up. I noticed that the shelves were looking a bit bare in places, but I suppose that is to be expected, Friday is usually a busy shopping day. I was going to get some extra virgin olive oil but there was none. It seems that it comes from Russia, and they are a bit busy at the moment. The fruit and veg department was looking a bit bare. There was enough for what I wanted, and Billy's mum had already paid me with a bag of veg anyway. I have enough.
Not quite so warm today. I have a couple of ideas of what I want to do, so I'll see how the weather pans out by lunchtime.
Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up soon. Have a good weekend.

Correct.

Having a clear out. Tons of old messages on my little Nokia.

When it all kicked off I wondered if I was doing the right thing by holding off. Now I am certain that my decision not to participate was correct.
The plan for today is to trim my hair, and have a bath. Walk Billy dog, and get ready to go out tonight to the Arts Centre. The artists who are exhibiting, and and their guests, are invited to a presentation evening. Food and drink laid on by the catering staff.
I had better get off my bum and get on with it.

Yellow

The deleted post was very hard hitting. I was almost at boiling point, I had to have a good old rant. I know quite a few swear words. Some of it I have said before, but the further we are bulldozed into this current situation the more obvious it is that those who are supposed to be our leaders are not leaders at all. Everyone needs to open their eyes. The situation is going to become a lot more difficult. I had better leave it at that for now, before I start effing and blinding again.
My way of escaping is to go for a walk, and immerse myself into other activities. At this time of the year the garden provides me with a sanctuary where I can potter to my hearts content. My arts and crafts keeps my hands and head busy. Time spent with my cats is relaxing.
I made this video yesterday.
Now I am going to go outside and water my pot plants.
We'll catch up soon. Toodle pip.   ilona

Need to say this (beware colourful language)

This post has been deleted. There are things I wanted to say. A lot of swearing. I got it off my chest. Now I can move on. There will be a video later.

Have a good day.    ilona

Pink and yellow

Today I joined two of my local walks together to make an eight mile walk. I set off a bit earlier than usual so I wouldn't be late getting back. This is a very popular walk, especially at the weekend.

Good views looking over the river.

When I got back I went around the village snapping pics of the lovely blossom trees. It's a pity it only lasts a short time before the petals fall to the ground.

I'm glad we have four seasons. Spring and summer are my favourites.

It's nice to go out

I thought I might write a meaningful post today, possibly about risk assessment and how we decide what's best for us. Maybe I'll save it for another day. The sun is calling me to go outside. I will have a bimble with the camera and see what I can find.

Playing with a picture idea

I picked up a handful of white cards from the Scrapstore ages ago. Didn't have any ideas in mind for them at the time. I painted five of them with nail varnish, trying different techniques. Interesting but I could easily get bored if I was to use them all in this way, and what would I do with them when they are finished.
The other morning I woke up with an idea, maybe I could cover them with fabric. I cut some of them into 10cm squares. Hmmmm, interesting. I have done some smaller 5cm squares. Shall I do some plain colours, or make them all patterned. Next I need to work out how to arrange them on a background. Do I put them in a frame, or sew them onto a covered board like the button heart. I see a picture. This idea will probably change course, it might go in a different direction.

Fabric pulled tight at the back with tiny stitches along the edges which can't be seen at the front. This is the same method of piecing together scraps of fabric to do patchwork ready for quilting, only I won't be removing the card.

I enjoy playing on the craft table. Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

This and that

I saw two hedgehogs having nookies last night. Before I went to bed at 10.30pm I  checked on the food situation outside. Has it been disturbed. Oh, that's a surprise, both hedgehogs cavorting around the bowls. One of them had it's head down facing the stone border around the garden, the other was circling it, then hopping onboard. How do hedgehogs make love? Very carefully. I watched for a few minutes before the passive one wandered off. Looking forward to seeing some hoglets at some point during the summer.

I see that a lot of flights are being cancelled at the moment. I'm not surprised. Railway stations are chaos. I'm not surprised. Motorways are blocked with horrendous tailbacks. I'm not surprised. Piles of human poo on Mount Snowdon. I'm not surprised. Garage owner fears 80% of his drivers hit by new red diesel law. I'm not surprised. Fatigue and dizziness maybe signs of stealth Omicron. I'm not surprised. Cancer vaccine using same tech as covid jabs could be a game changer. I'm not surprised. Drivers could face up to £1000 fine for not drinking enough water. I'm not surprised. Symptoms to spot in children as mystery liver disease which could be new covid variant hits UK. I'm not surprised.

I have recently come across this web site, The Wall Will Fall. Their strap line is, Where mainstream media fears to tread. Gareth retweeeeted a link to it. The latest article is from Vanessa Beeley. A respected journalist who lives in Syria. She is a regular contributor on UK Column, also 21st Century Wire. In this latest article she talks about Shanghai Lockdown and asks the question, who is behind it? It's a comprehensive article which brings together a lot of loose ends. Nothing is as straight forward as the main stream media would have you believe. The links are all there for anyone who has an appetite to get to the bottom of things.

You have the power to live your life to the full. The hedgehogs have got it right. Lots of love.   ilona xxx

Two visitors tonight

The first hedgehog came tonight just before 9pm. It had a good scoff. Then the second one turned up and the first one scarpered. It didn't have a drink, I hope it comes back later. The second one had a scoff and a drink.

I tried to make a video but it is too dark. I don't want to put more lighting up as it may scare them and they won't come back. They are coming every night. Most of the food has gone by the morning. Whether it is more hedgehogs or cats that have eaten it, I don't know.

Two new skip finds

It was warm on Saturday night. I sat outside for a while, sipping a glass of cider. A soft glow from a candle on the table, and an amazing moon floating slowly by behind the trees.

Yesterday was sunny and warm. A local walk beckoned. It's all greening up nicely now.
Not going that way today.

Bluebells are appearing.

Wild garlic in abundance. All is well in the woods.
I paused to look in the skip before I got home. Anything new appeared? Oooh look, a lovely pineapple jug, hand painted in Italy. £9 when it was new. A new ornament for the table. M&S bowl. Now on the lawn as a bird bath.

It's not so warm today. I am doing some sewing, and have a few jobs to do in the garden. A village walk later.
Enjoy your Easter Monday. We'll catch up soon. Toodle pip.  ilona

A look at Retford

I walked from the Cemetery to the town centre. The market had closed and the Council workers were taking down the stalls. I remember the Market Square, from my first lorry driving job. This was my area delivering for Nestle. I also made a stop here when I was on a long walk. I arrived at lunchtime and decided to call it a day. The lady in the Tourist Information found me a B & B. I went there and dropped my rucksack off then had a meander around the town.
The Town Hall, with the market stalls spoiling a nice picture.

The Police Station.
Lovely flower display around the War Memorial.

St Swithuns is a fabulous church in the centre of Retford.
Come and have a look inside with me.
I didn't have long in Retford. I set off back, out of the town on the A620. About half a mile down the road I turned off right and followed a footpath to Babworth. This is the church there.
I joined a wide track, passed a wood, and joined the canal back to Ranby. The walk was 10 miles as checked on Bikehike.co.uk. You can see on the map that I have done a few walks in this area now.
I've had a nice day today. Started a new crafty project, and did a five mile local walk.

Memories. It's Truck Racing at Brands Hatch this weekend. I went to this event in 1985, soon after I started the Lady Truckers Club. In 1986 I made it the first official meet up place for our members. It was great to meet the ladies in person.
That's all for now. Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
