Hello. This is a much shorter video because my camera suddenly stopped recording. Not my fault, batteries are always fully charged before I leave home. I must have accidentally pressed a button. I will be looking into getting a new camera.
Just a few photographs, agricultural shows are very similar. What's nice about this one is that it's surrounded by hills, so it's fun to look down on everything from a distance.
A nice Roller here, with two ladies sitting in the back seat.
They take great pride in their tractors in North Yorkshire. Plenty of spit and polish to get these looking good for the show.
This is the brass band doing their thing in the tent. It was a blistering hot day. Everyone followed them down the hill from the village earlier.
Lots of trade tents to buy from. To cater for the huge crowds there were four big car parks. All very well organised.
Building a dry wall demonstration. It's great how they have cut the grass so people can picnic with a view. Over there just beyond the trees is Reeth Village.
Ha ha, terrier racing. The dogs love it. They were all over the place running towards their owners at the other end of the ring. By this time I had seen it all and it was still mid afternoon. I was beginning to wilt a bit because it was so hot. I am not one to lounge about and do nothing. The village of Grinton is not far away, so I went walkabout there.
More to come. Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip. ilona
What a turnout. The dogs look thrilled to bits to be free to run. You had the best view from the higher perch. Looking forward to seeing the rest. Thanks for taking us along.😊
