How deep?

Good morning. Sunny outside but with a chill in the air. It's Post Office day at the church so my first job is to go there and withdraw a few quid from my bank account. I need some spends as I will have to get some food in this week.

Then I have options. Maybe I will get the bus to town and walk back. Maybe I will visit June. Maybe I will drive to town, visit the Arts Centre, and pick up food from Aldi as I am passing. I will definitely have to mow the lawn because it is looking scruffy and I need to fill up the brown bin for collection tomorrow. There are a lot of other 'maybes' but I have put them on the 'probably won't' pile. Another day will be along tomorrow.

I saw a man kneeling on a grass verge the other day, his car was parked nearby. I wondered what he was doing. Long straight road, not much traffic. Then I saw this come up on my screen, and the penny dropped. That road has a lot of daffodils on each side of it in the spring. A lovely show of yellow, in and out of the village. Could it be that he was planting more bulbs? I shall have a look when I next go that way.

Now to the Post Office. Must keep using it or the man might stop coming, then everyone will miss out. Older people with no transport rely on local services.
Thanks for popping in. Don't forget, no fighting. 💏💏💏
